Monkey Temple in Hua Hin

Today was our big day out. We took a Tuk Tuk for the first time, which i posted about in a earlier post. We went to Wat Khao Takiap, where they honor the monkey. I don't really know the story behind it, but the monkeys are fed and taken care of to some extent. So they are a little too familiar with people, and babies.  Fun for picture taking.

Beautiful Temple (Sonya's picture)

But many steps to get there. Some of us were not so happy about that.

Monkeys over here!

So many different characters. I'm sure they all have their own personality.

Lots of Buddhas and monkeys with Buddhas

Lots of Monkey families. This mama's looking protective.

Make a prayer, add some gold leaf, donate.
